This Junction City bathroom remodel offers inspiration and design envy.
For the past 20 years, Castile Kitchen & Bath has established themselves to be Eugene’s #1 kitchen and bathroom design and remodel company. Through passion and dedication, the Castile team continues to transform the living spaces of homeowners in Lane County.
Understanding the goals, needs, style preferences, and budget requirements of the homeowner is critical to the success of any remodel project. That’s why Castile Kitchen & Bath has developed a proprietary design process to address all of these important factors.
When this Junction City couple contacted Castile’s design team, their bathroom was in serious need of a functional and aesthetic update! A complete redesign was required to transform the existing bathroom’s outdated design into the beautiful functional space that the couple had envisioned.
A custom cherry wood vanity was selected in a golden chestnut color, adding warmth to the space and offsetting the darker earth-tone colors of the room. A stunning and vibrant “Volga Blue” countertop was then installed, adding a bold and dramatic contrast to the cherry vanity.
Complementing both the granite and cherry wood, a striking Oceana Reflections undermounted sink in Slate Blue was installed. The translucent mother of pearl hues in this sink adds a unique and lustrous touch to this space! Elegant champagne bronze fixtures were installed throughout the room, creating a warm and refined look, while the Craftsmen style lantern light fixtures used bring a charming artistic flare.
White painted wall cabinets and a custom mirrored medicine cabinet was installed providing plenty of accessible storage while leaving the space bright. A custom tile and cherry wood wainscotting covers the walls. The cherry wood adds warmth and unity to the space, and the 12×24 Enchant HDP “Charm tiles” creates a natural and grounded feel that complements the Marmoleum “Granada” colored floor. The contrasting “Tahoe
Blend” tile accent band incorporated around the top adds richness, depth and excitement as the colorful and iridescent tiles playfully catch your eye! A large plate glass mirror was placed above the wainscotting on the wall opposite the sink creating a feel of a larger more generous space. Embellished by a simple patinaed copper bar that runs the length of the wall provides plenty of room to hang towels while adding a unique decorative element.
The same 12×24 Enchant HDP “Charm tiles” used in the wainscotting were also used for the shower surround. A custom inlay shower niche was added using contrasting and colorful Tahoe Blend accent tiles, the same “Volga Blue” granite used for the vanity top, and clear glass shelving. The shower was then enclosed by a custom 3/8″ frameless shower door system with champagne bronze clamp style hardware matching both the vanity and shower fixtures.
The Castile Kitchen & Bath team enjoyed bringing this unique bathroom remodel to life for these happy Junction city clients, and the homeowners couldn’t be happier with the outcome!
