A Sleek Modern Primary Bathroom
An expertly designed custom bathroom.
The Wallace’s began their bathroom remodel journey with an extensive design consultation with the leading Eugene remodeler near me, Castile Kitchen & Bath. For over 20 years, Castile has established themselves to be Eugene’s top-rated choice for kitchen and bathroom remodels! After the meeting, it was determined the key objectives would be a layout revision to include an oversized shower, reshaping the space to increase flow and function, and updating the flooring, countertops, and vanity.
A Focal Point
The focal point of this bathroom is a custom-built Alder vanity with a Spice stain. This double vanity boasts an abundance of storage while maintaining a sleek mid-century modern look. Above the vanity is an Elegant Eternity 36×48 Beveled Metal Framed Mirror along with two dimmable wall sconces. Providing a high-end look is a Pental Quartz 3CM Misterio Polished countertop and a Lacava Aquasei Trough Sink. Using a trough sink optimizes the space while also protecting the countertop from splatters and splashes due to its depth. Champagne Bronze Wall Mount Faucets create a luxurious experience while perfectly complementing the quartz countertops.

Depth & Contrast
Running throughout the space are rich Charcoal Moroccan Concrete Hex Tiles. The hexagonal-shaped tiles bring a modern and attractive design that has a stunning aesthetic. Using darkened hues against the bright selections give depth and contrast, ultimately creating a grounding effect in the space. To provide privacy, the toilet room is sectioned off with a pocket door. The Wallace family chose to replace their outdated toilet with an American Standard Cadet 3. Choosing a concealed trapway toilet, like this one, tends to be more sanitary by providing easy upkeep.

By reshaping the space using expert design concepts, a larger shower was included. By reducing the size of the separating wall, the shower was now more open and spacious. Floor-to-ceiling Arctic White subway tiles, along with expertly placed lighting created a bright and rejuvenating atmosphere. Tying the look together is 1.5” hex tile and charcoal grey subway tile that creates a seamless flow from the shower base to the bathroom floor.
The end product was a one-of-a-kind, luxurious, Mid-Century Modern Master Bathroom that the Wallaces will love for years to come! If you are ready to fall in love with your bathroom again, call Castile Kitchen & Bath today to speak with one of their professional design consultants!
