As a Californian native Pat’s fondest memories were spent along the Coast in San Francisco. Now a retired vineyard owner, she dreamt of creating a space to host her family with a scene that is reminiscent of her happiest moments.
Capturing the Sea
Castile Kitchen & Bath designers used details like Daltile Alabescato Twilight countertops with a wave like vein and Mykonos Harbor Thasos Cliff Mosaic Tiles featuring Mother of Pearl to create a coastal feel throughout the kitchen.
Designers also brought the essence of the sea by using pulls from Top Knobs Pomander Collection that subtlety resemble scallops.

Maple cabinetry warmly compliments the cooler elements within the space creating an inviting atmosphere. Situated in the heart of the kitchen is professional grade 48” Dual Fuel Wolf Range that is ideal for crafting a wide range of meals. The look is completed with a customized Zephyr hood vent and matching stainless steel appliances. Continuing throughout the space is Marina Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring. The distressed look lends to the coastal feeling while bringing additional warmth to the space.
Here is an idea of what the previous kitchen looked like before the remodel. Outdated materials, scarcity of workspace, and lack of character made this kitchen an excellent candidate for a re-design.
