Springfield Bathroom Remodel
An updated look created with elegance & functionality in mind.
Featured here is a bathroom remodel in Springfield. The Beardsley’s turned to Castile to transform their bathroom into an oasis. Planning to age in place, they wanted a bathroom that incorporated elements of Universal Design and Accessibility in the space. Bringing functionality and beauty truly come together creating the perfect master bath.
Functionality Added
Before coming to Castile, the original master bathroom lacked overall form and functionality. The vanity did not offer enough available storage and the bathtub was difficult to access. A wall between the water closet and the main space caused the bathroom to feel small and cramped.
Castile’s designers reshaped the space to create an open floor plan, offering the accessibility the clients were looking for. A major highlight in this space is a fully customized, walk-in shower. The shower surround is a Taupe/White on Natural with a Matte Finish cultured marble. Personalized to meet the homeowners needs, it includes a shower bench, large recessed niche, and minimal curb step.

Thoughtful Design
Castile Kitchen & Bath is a leading bathroom design company in addition to being a remodeler. The success of this project started with an Initial Client Design Consultation. After entering into a Design Agreement, they then decide on the best functional use of space, discover previously unseen design opportunities, then present the design objectives as seen here. They then moved into the four primary selections of Cabinetry, Countertops, Flooring, and Wall Surfaces. Once that is done with then going to their secondary selections consisting of all other small design details including Lighting, Fixtures, Trim Details, and all final remaining options for the project. Upon final review they finalize a Construction Agreement.
