Featured here is a kitchen remodel in Eugene. The Gray’s main objective was to make the space bright and unique to their style and personality. Functionally, the Grays desired to add more storage and workspace, as well as update the wood floors. Before coming to Castile the original space was lacking character and originality.
The centerpiece of this kitchen is a bold island. Traditional Shaker cabinets painted in Needlepoint Navy contrast strikingly against Teltos Quartz Alabaster countertops. Accentuating the space are three Ballard Design pendant lights in Spa Industrial Metal Finish. The contrast of light and dark creates a grounding effect in the space.
Opening Up the Space
The island provides plenty of additional workspace on each side of the Elkay Lusterstone Iconic Single bowl Undermount Sink adorned with Elkay Avado Pre-Rinse 3 Function Spray Faucet. Tying the light elements together are walls painted in Owl Gray finished with simple, yet elegant Bead Board painted in Colonial White.

Upon final review they finalize a Construction Agreement.

Completing the look and bringing elegance to the space is a custom built-in Hood Case that matches the surrounding cabinets.
