When a local architect drew plans for this South Eugene’s new kitchen remodel and new bathroom remodel, their next step was connecting with us to build his vision. The kitchen design was simple, the layout would remain the same, new cabinets and countertops would be installed and the existing oak floor would be refinished. The bathroom layout was designed around the much larger shower, one that was spacious and accommodating to the homeowner as she ages in her home.
This tired, dated kitchen now has a soft, warm and natural feel, inviting you in to create your culinary masterpieces! This feel was created by the use of Alder cabinets with a Honey Pecan finish, Oatmeal colored Lanmark Cultured Marble Countertops, and Stainless Steel appliances. The original Oak hardwood flooring was refinished and the walls colored with a soft orange paint. Recessed LED lighting is used for general lighting in this space while under-cabinet lights are used as task lighting to brighten your work space. Decorative glass pendants are hung over the bar top for additional lighting as well as adding a pop of color and fun for this kitchen.
This new bathroom is now bright and spacious, a far contrast to the originally dark and cramped space. This roomy white solid surface Cultured Marble shower is enclosed by a frame-less glass shower door system which allows the light in the bathroom to filter into the shower area. A floor heat system was install under the tile floor so that during the cooler months the tile will remain cozy while allowing the heat to radiate up into the bathroom to keep this space warm. The same Alder cabinets and Oatmeal Cultured Marble Countertop that were used in the kitchen are also used here in this bathroom once again adding a warm natural feel to this space.
