When Susan, of Eugene, reached out to Castile Kitchen & Bath, she was looking to update her master bath with a contemporary, yet functional look.
The outdated sliding door shower was replaced with a gorgeous walk in cultured marble shower, enclosed with a custom Vigo Pirouette glass door system, accented with stainless steel hardware. A large recessed niche and floating shelf provide plenty of storage space within the shower. The top of the surround is playfully accented with a 3″ x 6″ colored glass subway tile band. A stainless steel Delta “Raincan” shower-head with an attached shower wand turns this stunning shower into a space fit to unwind at the end of the day.
Stepping out of the shower, users are greeted with a simple and natural feeling Gea Oro Porcelain tile. This subtle choice for flooring helps keep this space light while bringing a striking contrast to the room as the floor meets the vanity.
The custom Beechwood vanity stained in Artic Gray is the centerpiece of this space adding a depth and richness to the room. A Pental Quartz Misterio countertop tops the vanity again bringing a striking contrast to the space. Topped with a single lever stainless steel faucet and rectangular under-mount sink these two features add an elegant simplicity. Embellished with glass knobs the vanity stands out against the subdued tones of the bathroom, which draws your eyes to this spectacular piece.
Built with slow-close hardware and dove-tail drawer boxes, the vanity features an appliance organizer. This personalized drawer was built to house a hairdryer and curling irons. With a power supply in the back of the drawer all of these styling tools can remain plugged in within the drawer and just need to be turned on when they are ready to be used. Above the vanity simple 36″ x 36″ mirror sits, framed in the same Artic Gray Beechwood.
