Bathroom Remodeler in Eugene adds space while modernizing.
When the Yamada family first reached out to the Castile Kitchen & Bath team, their primary goal was to increase the size of their shower. The secondary focus of this bathroom remodel project was to update the space to a more modern, simple and clean style matched to the rest of their home.
Many clients looking to do a remodel in their home have similar goals of maximizing the space while updating it to match their needs and personality.
During the design process it was discovered that the bathroom could gain an extra 10 inches of space by simply moving a small portion of the wall dividing the bathroom from the bedroom. This change allowed the design of the bathroom to accommodate a shower that was larger by nearly a foot without needing to enlarge the footprint of the home! This small change discovered only by completing a thorough design process allowed this homeowner to save thousands!
This custom walk in shower is a white swirl cultured marble with a built-in soap and shampoo niche. The glass half wall leaves this shower feeling larger and more open helping create real additional elbow room and the feel of a much larger shower.
The freestanding white vanity with matching mirror, and light-colored marble countertop keep this space feeling clean and simple while giving it a modern feel. The two rectangular undermount sinks continue the modern, simple feel while giving the vanity and countertop an element of interest. The existing flooring was replaced with Pichola/Coal 18”x18” tiles with matching grout.
The homeowners had a great experience, loved the bathroom design process and really enjoyed working with our Construction Team to complete the project. A bathroom remodel can be a daunting process, but with the right team behind you it can be fun and exciting!
