Re-working the floor plan unites the entire home.
Castile Kitchen & Bath is a local remodeling contractor. On this page we introduce a recent full home renovation in Eugene we completed.
Our clients purchased their older home in a great East Eugene location. With our help they were able to turn this dated house into a bright, modern, spacious home. By moving the location of the kitchen and removing a few walls, we were able to create an inviting, modern living space in their 1960’s ranch style house.
This full home remodel began with a local architect contacting us for help. We collaborated with the clients and the architect to come up with a budget friendly plan to design their new space. They wanted to build an updated and functional new home but on a tight time line since they were soon expecting their first child.
In the kitchen, the clients chose a classic white Subway-tile backsplash, Stainless Steel fixtures and appliances to complement their Cultured Marble countertops. The clear finished maple cabinetry adds a clean and classic feel to this kitchen, and the blue Marmoleum flooring adds a pop of color as well as a little personality.
Both of the bedrooms in this home were also updated during this remodel. The bedroom on the main floor originally was dark and cramped with a extremely small closet. By removing the existing closet and adding a large walk-in closet to the bathroom hallway the home owners were able to have a larger, more versatile bedroom that is now light and bright with a large picture window looking out into the back yard.
