Additions of attached or detached spaces, including: apartments, home based offices, recreation rooms, and garages. Adding on to your home, especially if it’s old or historic, can present challenges. We have encountered and artfully overcome many of the obstacles found in doing home-additions.
From tying new walls into old ones that aren’t plumb to shoring up poorly framed roofs that had shifted more than a foot over time, we’ve done it. You name a building challenge, and chances are we’ve seen it and overcome it with seamlessly beautiful results.
Says Barry as a testimonial for the above New Additions work,
“Fantastic! There were many surprises behind the old walls, but Forrest made everything right. From demo, to framing, sheeting, siding and more detailed finish work, he can do it all. We even ran into a few design flaws in the plans. My fault, not theirs. And Forrest’s experience and patience helped guide us through the possibilities until we found the right solution. We were constantly surprised by his broad knowledge of all phases of construction. He held weekly meetings with us to go over the progress of the job and to make sure we were happy with the way things were going. His assistant, Freedom, was equally impressive. Equally as capable a carpenter, Freedom and Forrest made a great team. It was clear that they have worked together for many years and not only know their stuff, but work great together. We are new to the area, and feel like we hit the jackpot picking Castile Construction to do our remodel. No matter how big or small your job is we can’t recommend them more.”
The above didn’t always look this way. Look at some of the examples of this New Addition work in progress we had for this job.
